Our primary times for nursery ministry is during our regular weekend services, Saturday at 6:30 PM, Sunday at 9 AM and 10:40 AM, and Wednesday at 6:30 PM.

When you bring your child to Christ’s Chapel Nursery, they will experience much more than safe and dependable childcare. We will welcome them into a caring environment, and surround them with Jesus’s love designed just for them. We relay God’s Word in bite-size pieces that are easy for them to understand and enjoy.

Our volunteers are amazing.  They lift the atmosphere, connect with the kids to show them God’s love, put parents at ease about the safety of their child, and create memories that last for years. If you are interested in serving the families in our church, we would love to have you on our team.

SAFETY

Creating a fun, welcoming, and Christ-Like environment is essential.  However, your child’s safety is our top priority. Leadership interviews every potential volunteer, and each one is background checked.  We are careful to ensure each of our classrooms are well maintained, safe and clean.  When your child arrives, our check-in staff gives parents an ID number corresponding to their child’s name tag. You are then free to enjoy the service, knowing your child is in a completely safe environment.

QUESTIONS

What is the Check In and Check Out process like for the kids?

Upon arriving, each child checks into our safe and secure database. When you are ready to pick your child up, just return to the registration desk and give your phone number. The attendant will verify your identity and bring your child to meet you.

What if my child needs me during the service!

If your child needs you during the service, we will contact you through the phone number you gave when you checked in for the first time. We also, occasionally, will project a number on the sanctuary screen that was given to parents when checking in their child.

What safety protocols are in place?

Every volunteer that serves as a team member with our kids is first screened with an interview and required to have a background check.  Also, our safety team monitors the facility throughout the duration of every service. Additionally, we have clear exit strategies in place and paths marked in the classrooms in the event of an emergency.

What should I bring?

Diapers, wipes, bottles and pacifiers.  If you child is potty-training, please bring a change of clothes for them in case they have an accident while at church. Please be ready to share details concerning feeding and napping schedules.

Will my child receive snacks?

Yes, if your child has allergies or diet restrictions, please tell our check- in desk attendant.  They will make the note in our system and inform those who is caring for your child.

What is the Wellness Policy?

To ensure a safe and healthy environment for every child, we request that parents take responsibility for making sure their children are well before coming to church and placing them in the nursery. All children should be symptom- free for at least 24 hours before bringing them to the nursery.

Are there expectations and accommodations for keeping my child in the worship service?

We want everyone to have an incredible worship experience, and that’s why we offer a Mother’s Room to assist parents with fussy or vocal children.  This room in at the back of the sanctuary and has play areas for the kids along with a television monitor of the service.  If your child becomes too active or fussy, we ask that you take advantage of this option.
