“CELEBRATE LIFE AFTER 55 WITH THE YAH Senior Adult Ministry at Christ’s Chapel!  If you are an adult who is at least 55 years old and enjoy Giving, Loving and Serving, then the YAH group is for you.
Our mission is to maintain the identity of Seniors with regard to their continued value as vital parts of the body of Christ and to recognize their value in terms of wisdom, experience, knowledge, talents, and God-given abilities and gifts.
 
Young at Heart is Food, Fun and Fellowship
 
PROGRAMS DURING THE YEAR INCLUDE GUESTS SPEAKERS, HYMN SINGS, GAME NIGHTS ETC.
 
MINISTRIES INCLUDE:  Supporting Christ’s Chapel Adopt-A-Block ministry, Delivering “Sunshine Baskets” to the sick and homebound, Visiting hospitals, nursing homes and the homebound, Writing letters of encouragement to Missionaries and our college students, Helping our Children and Youth Pastors encourage our students in mentoring activities, Bake Sales and All-Church Bazaar.
 
2010 trips will include Showboat Dinner Cruise, Shaker Village & La Comedia Christmas Dinner Theatre.
 
How often does Young @ Heart meet?
 
Young @ Heart meets on the first Monday of each month (with the exclusion of January, July, September and November)
We now have a “Lunch Bunch” for all (men and women) which meets the 2nd Monday of every month at the Golden Corral on Houston road.  It starts at 1:00 on those Mondays and seniors eat for $6.27 each. (This includes their drink) No reservations required.
